Terms of Service

1. Service description

Driftline is a non-custodial interface for cross-chain asset swaps. When you create a swap through Driftline, the actual exchange of assets is performed by independent third-party liquidity partners. Driftline never holds, stores, or controls your assets at any point: deposits go to addresses controlled by the liquidity partner, and payouts are sent directly to the destination address you provide. Driftline does not execute, guarantee, or reverse swaps on its own.

2. Eligibility & prohibited use

You may use Driftline only if it is legal to do so in your jurisdiction and you are of legal age there. You may not use Driftline if you are a person or entity subject to applicable sanctions, or if you are located in a sanctioned territory. You may not use Driftline to move funds obtained illegally, to launder money, to finance prohibited activities, or to circumvent any law or regulation. We and our partners may refuse, pause, or cancel any order that appears to violate these rules.

3. Quotes & rate modes

Quotes are shown in two modes. Float applies the market rate at the moment your deposit is confirmed, so the final amount you receive can be slightly higher or lower than the estimate. Fixed locks the quoted amount, provided your deposit arrives within the deposit window shown for the order. Quoted amounts already include network fees and the partner's service cost. On float orders the amounts may vary with market movement.

4. Deposits

Each order comes with a single-use deposit address. Send the exact amount shown, on the correct network, within the stated window. Deposits below the displayed minimum may be lost or delayed. If you send funds on the wrong network, or omit a required memo or destination tag where one is needed, the funds may be unrecoverable. Always verify the address, the network, and the amount before sending. Deposits are final once confirmed unless a refund is issued under section 5.

5. Refunds

Providing a refund address when creating an order is strongly recommended; without one, refunds may be impossible or significantly delayed. Refunds are processed by the liquidity partner and are returned on the network of the asset you sent, minus any network fees. Partners may run compliance checks on deposits; a refund can be delayed, or made conditional on identity verification (KYC), if a check is triggered. Driftline does not control the timing or outcome of partner compliance decisions.

6. No custody, no account

Driftline requires no registration and asks you to connect nothing. You interact with the service by creating individual orders, each identified by an order ID. Keep your order ID safe: it is the only way to look up a swap. Because there is no account and no custody, Driftline cannot freeze, reverse, or compensate orders, and cannot restore access to anything you send.

7. Liability disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Driftline and its operators are not liable for losses arising from use of the service, including failed or delayed swaps, incorrect destination details entered by you, market movement on float orders, lost deposits, network congestion, or the acts or omissions of third-party liquidity partners.

8. Changes & contact

These terms may change at any time. The version published on this page applies to orders created after publication. If you have questions about these terms or a specific order, contact support@driftline.example and include your order ID.
